I had gone from buying candy in bulk to special chocolates that I would enjoy if no witches or animals came for a visit. The "appointments" with some neighbors who still had young children petered out when they too outgrew this pastime.
Your father and I have been "escaping" Halloween for I can't recall how many years now. Our long-term care insurance agent gives us a pair of movie tickets each year and on Halloween night, we enjoyed the annual movie outing with a malt. This is followed by dinner at Big City Diner and your father is in seventh heaven eating Loco-Moco with an extra bowl of brown gravy! We enjoyed Puss In Boots and were amazed at the long list of credits.
Love
MomUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00192379550915552931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8263582.post-57894974368635444482011-11-01T17:02:42.782-04:002011-11-01T17:02:42.782-04:00I totally agree about the meeting the neighbors pa...I totally agree about the meeting the neighbors part about Halloween. We trick or treated in our neighborhood for the first time this year and met many of our neighbors that I haven't seen in 3 years of living in the neighborhood. Definitely staying close to home again next year.Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16386475266647675082noreply@blogger.com
